Trade licence
Sigrid Geister holds an Austrian trade licence for life and social counselling, restricted to psychosocial counselling, in accordance with Section 119 of the Austrian Trade Regulation Act.
Scope of the service
The service comprises psychosocial counselling within the scope of the Austrian trade licence for life and social counselling, as well as trauma-informed specialist counselling. It supports personal, emotional, social and professional concerns, resource activation and personal development.
Not psychotherapy or medical treatment
The service is not psychotherapy and does not replace medical, psychiatric, clinical-psychological or psychotherapeutic diagnosis and treatment. No promises of cure are made.
In the event of an acute mental health crisis, risk of harm to yourself or others, or a medical emergency, please contact an appropriate emergency or crisis service or medical facility immediately.
Trauma-informed specialist counselling
Trauma-informed specialist counselling is stabilising, resource-oriented and psychoeducational. Targeted trauma processing in the sense of psychotherapy is not part of this service.
Online counselling
Online sessions require a suitable technical connection and a protected, private environment. Despite appropriate technical measures, internet-based communication cannot be guaranteed to be entirely free from security or connection risks.
